AAFB runs a mobile dustless setup that strips rust, old paint, and failing coatings off bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks, loaders, and attachments right in your yard or on the jobsite. Dustless means we mix water with the abrasive, so you get almost no airborne particulate, minimal cleanup, and neighbors who don't call the city. Owner-operated by Aaron Hildred (CSLB #1109166, bonded and insured), every job is run by the guy holding the nozzle. Two-hour, $600 minimum. Returning customers get 5% off.

Walk the equipment
Aaron looks over each machine, notes substrates, identifies seals and components to mask, and confirms scope before any media flies.
Mask and stage
Cylinders, glass, decals, hydraulic lines, and electronics get masked. We tarp the work area to catch spent media for clean disposal.
Dustless blast
Eco-safe abrasive plus water strips paint, rust, and coatings down to clean, profiled metal ready for primer or recoating.
Rinse and inspect
We rinse off residue, walk the machine with you, and confirm every surface is ready for the next step in your refurb.

No. We're fully mobile across Southern California. We blast bulldozers, excavators, and trucks at your yard, shop, or jobsite, so you skip the transport cost and downtime.
Not when it's dialed in correctly. We mask seals, cylinders, and electronics before we start, then tune pressure and media to the substrate so steel comes out profiled for paint, not pitted.
Depends on size and condition. A skid steer or attachment can run a couple of hours. A loaded excavator or dozer may take a full day or more. We quote per machine after a quick walk-through.
Our minimum is 2 hours at $600. Heavy equipment jobs scale from there based on size, coating thickness, and access. Returning customers get 5% off. Call (805) 750-4080 for a quote.
